Entrepreneur IN RESIDENCE
Bio-CPS Entrepreneur-In-Residence (Bio-CPS EIR) is an umbrella program under the entrepreneurship development vertical of BITS BioCyTiH Foundation to encourage and support young innovators and budding entrepreneurs in the interdisciplinary area of Bio-CPS.
Bio-CPS EIR is a six-months’ long intense program of rigorous training, handholding and nurturing Bio-CPS focused innovators through their early-stage entrepreneurial journey.
The program facilitates the fellows with monthly fellowship of Rs. 50,000/- for the duration of six months to partially de-risk their entrepreneurial journey and provides crucial offerings for the early-stage start-ups. In addition to monthly fellowship, Bio-CPS EIRs will also be eligible for a cash prize award up to Rs. 5,00,000/- on successful completion of the program or upon highly promising progress of the project during the program.

First call for proposals was launched until 14th November 2022
Second call for proposal Bio-CPS EIR
The second call for proposals was launched on May 10th, 2023, with an application deadline of June 1st, 2023. This program aims to support young entrepreneurs in the field of Bio-CPS, with a focus on inventions and product development in the Healthcare, Agriculture, Water and/or Environment sectors.
