A Webinar was organized on the Topic – Building an Innovation ecosystem in Academic Institutions. The key note address was given by Mr. David Gill, Managing Director, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, UK, where he emphasized on the key components that helped developing the Cambridge innovation ecosystem in Cambridge University, UK. This was followed by a panel discussion lead by Dr. Satya Dash with Dr. Premnath Venugopalan, Director, Venture Centre, Pune & Ms Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman & CEO IKP Knowledge Park as Panelists in addition to Mr. David Gill. The Panel focused on some of the pertinent queries on promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in academic environment, mindset issues, Innovation programs and courses, do’s and don’t’s while building nascent innovation ecosystems etc.
