The BITS BioCyTiH Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit hosted by BITS Pilani, serves as a vital bridge between theoretical research and industrial application through its specialized training courses for both academia and industry. Operating under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), the Foundation designs these programs to bridge the “skills gap” in the burgeoning field of Bio-Cyber-Physical Systems (Bio-CPS), covering domains like healthcare technology, bioinformatics, and smart agriculture. 

For academia, the courses provide students and researchers with hands-on exposure to state-of-the-art national facilities across the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses, fostering a culture of translational research and entrepreneurship. 

Simultaneously, for industry professionals, the Foundation offers technical workshops and skill-upgradation modules that focus on the commercialization of biotech innovations and the integration of digital technologies into biological systems. By fostering this collaborative learning environment, BioCyTiH ensures that the next generation of scientists and industry leaders are equipped with the interdisciplinary expertise required to solve complex challenges in water, health, and environmental sustainability.
