Dr Anil Wali

A vibrant deep-tech ecosystem flourishes only when the right skills and capabilities complement the infrastructure.
In cutting-edge, interdisciplinary domains like Bio / Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), this demands
a sustained and strategic approach that leverages existing resources and fosters collaboration.

At BITS BioCyTiH Foundation (BBF), we are committed to building this ecosystem through a dynamic
mix of initiatives — technical workshops, EDPs, masterclasses, conferences, EIR programs, and deep-tech startup incubation. Each program is designed for targeted impact: masterclasses bring in industry practitioners, workshops create academia-industry linkages, and conferences enable dialogue among key stakeholders. To date, 6,316 participants
have engaged in these designated programs.

Central to this effort is our Technology Business Incubator (TBI), which supports not only
technology development and transfer but also cultivates entrepreneurial talent. Additionally, BBF places strong emphasis on Intellectual Property (IP) management — helping innovators protect, commercialize, and leverage their creations to maximize impact, with dedicated support for securing and managing both national and
international patents.

BBF remains focused on exploring and implementing innovative models to drive meaningful progress in emerging
technology areas.
